Good Evening

I’ve been saying to myself for a good while that I should set up a personal
web site (and stop using my work web site for personal stuff). At the same time I’ve been saying to myself that I don’t like the idea of it being out of my control on someone else’s server with funny terms and conditions and so on.

But I’ve changed my mind and given in. I don’t really have the time, or want to take the effort, to maintain my own web server. And it would probably just be a hosted system in some far-away colocation facility that would cost a lot of money and wouldn’t give me all that much control.

So, here I am.
